Are you going to share my personal information with a third party?

Absolutely not! We fully respect your privacy. We will not exchange your personal information, like many others, with a third party.

Definitely! The chances that your entry will be viewed will increase dramatically! As you can test it yourself, entries with a picture have a much higher click rate than the ones without a picture. Furthermore, our statistics show that most search queries are performed with a photo option.

To add a photo to your entry just click on "upload your photo under "my profile" and your photo will be visible to all members immediately. Your other option is to email your photo to singles@meet-the-one.com and it might take anywhere from 2-3 workdays before your photo is integrated in your profile. You photo should be in a JPG- (JPEG-) or GIF-Format. Pornographic or obscene pictures will not be accepted and will be deleted right away! To learn more just click on "upload your photo ".

How many photos can I add?

In addition to your primary photo you can post up to five photos for a better exposure of your profile. To learn more just click on "My gallery".

How do I know if someone sent me a message?

You will receive a notification sent automatically to your email address (provided at registration) if someone contacted you. You can view your personal messages by simply clicking on "my mailbox" after logging in.

Under "Sent messages" you will find a small, open envelope symbol if your message was read by the person you sent it to.

I have registered my profile a few weeks ago already but still have not received ANY responses.

Check the "Tips and Suggestions" section under the help/contact menu. You should check if you have been using the same email address as the one during registration. Just simply log in, click on "change your profile" and here you can see your 'active' email address that you have entered at registration.

I have contacted several members already but still no responses!

First of all, please don't give up. Perhaps the person you have written to has received tons of emails and it will take some time until you receive a response. Or the person may have met someone already but don't despair, there are thousands of singles out there who still looking for the ONE - you.

You can update your profile at any time by simply clicking on "profile settings" to change your username, password, personal introduction and more. If you update your profile regularly then your profile will appear at the top of all search results.

How do I become a featured single?

To become our featured single simpy click on "update profile" under "profile settings", scroll down to the bottom of the page and check the 'yes' box.The only requirement is that your entry must include a detailed profile and a current photo of yourself.

Your membership will NOT be automatically renewed when your initial membership expires. We don't want to put you through any inconvenience (coercing you into paying) - if you would forget to cancel your membership - like many other online personals do. If you wish to renew your membership just simply subscribe again.
